2018 c.a.s.e. grant winners

Heather Matthew
and
Lynden Stone

The two recipients submitted very professional proposals, demonstrating contemporary and active art practices with strong, locally based content and interaction. Both artists will receive $1,000 each for the realisation of their proposals.

c.a.s.e. has worked hard over the years to raise this money locally through various arts events and is delighted to be able to give back in support of local artists and art initiatives.

We were very impressed with the professional level of all the applicants and thank everyone who took the time to apply. We wish all the artists continued success with their careers and look forward to following their progress in the future.

Heather Matthew, a Pottsville based artist will receive a grant towards the development of her flood-related work SILT through exhibition support and professional documentation of her work.

Lynden Stone, a Tweed based artist, will use the grant in support of her upcoming performance piece Remedies for the New Age, to be exhibited in the Trailer Project at the Byron School of Art.
