contemporary art space & education (c.a.s.e. inc) and Byron School of Art (BS'A) are delighted to welcome: Gudrun Klix Hear Gudrun Klix, an internationally renowned ceramic artist, talk about her diverse practice which embraces sculpture, installation and vessel making.Born in Silesia (now part of Poland), displaced to Germany, Gudrun grew up in America and moved to Australia in her mid-thirties. As a migrant three times over, Gudrun understands the sense of deep loss that migrants experience when they leave their country of origin, and the importance of re-establishing connections with their new home. Through keen observation, her work explores and comments on our relationships with this land that we (but temporarily) inhabit.
