Artists have always looked to nature for inspiration, but today our relationship with the natural world is changing. Laura Jones will discuss her journey as an artist from starting out as a florist to documenting the Great Barrier Reef, Antarctica, and her home town of the Blue Mountains.
Laura will also explore her love of the still life genre and her recent experience as artist in residence at the Tweed Regional Gallery.
See more of Laura's work here: https://laurajones.com.au
A collaborative event between c.a.s.e (contemporary art space and education) and Tweed Regional Gallery.
Come and enjoy the talk pictures and discussions over a glass of something from the bar
There is no charge for the talk.
